Children and Youth Work

At the Sunday morning 10am service we have children’s work for ages 5-10 years. This is to provide a place for children to come and learn more about their Christian faith through fun and games.
We also have youth work for ages 11-15 years. Our aim is to encourage the young people in finding their own individual faith and to build up relationships and have fun.

On the first Sunday of the month there is a Family Service and all children and youth are invited to be involved in this. In addition the children and young people will also be involved with the planning of the major Christian celebrations and take part in a Nativity play at Christmas.

Crèche

For children under five years there is a crèche. However as this is not staffed, a parent or carer will need to remain with them.

Kids Club

On the first Friday of the month a children’s club is held in the church hall for children aged 5-11 years. This is open to both church and children in the community and runs from 6.30-8pm.

Activities include crafts, pool, table-tennis, giant jenga, juggling skills, PS2, games and many others.

Youth Group

Bi-monthly a youth group is held on a Friday night in the home of one of the workers for the youth of the church and their friends. The idea is to provide a social setting for the young people to encourage them in developing their relationships with each other and to focus on aspects of the Christian faith in an informal setting. These have included Pizza and DVD Nite’ and a Pancake Nite’ this year.
